Gaurs have also been acutely conscious of the responsibility towards problems like pollution, energy crisis as well as global warming. Over the years, Gaurs Group has taken several measures to maximize the utilization of natural resources and minimize environmental impact. Mrs. Gaur shared, “We have pioneered solid waste management in North India that eliminates the pollution threat from waste by recycling and treating waste to manure in 24 hours.
We convert almost 60000 kg of garbage to manure every day. We have highly invested in the waste management system to embrace the ‘Zero Waste’ philosophy in Gaur City. In all our avenues, we have installed the organic waste converter machine at each tower converting garbage into manure. This manure is further used in the gardens, landscaping etc.
The company has installed solar panels across its projects, ensuring optimal use of renewable energy sources. Furthermore, rainwater harvesting has been set up at all project sites to harness this precious resource sustainably.
Gaurs Group has also implemented state-of-the-art Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) technology in all its ventures, treating wastewater and transforming it into usable water, thus promoting water conservation. Regular plantation drives are also conducted to focus and preserve the environment from pollution and global warming.
In addition, we have recently set up a 15 MWT Solar Power Plant in Mahoba, U.P. which will generate 2.2 crore units of electricity annually. The electricity produced by the project will be integrated into the central grid and utilized for four of Gaurs' projects: Gaur City Mall, Gaur Central Mall, Gaur Sarovar Portico, and Gaur City Centre. All these initiatives reiterates our commitment to environment and lead us to the path of becoming self-sustainable.
