We have always been of the belief that when you're doing well in life, it becomes your responsibility to give back to the society. With this ideology, Gaurs Group, a name synonymous to trust since the last 25 years has set-up Gaurs Foundation under the leadership of the Group’s Director, Mrs. Manju Gaur to regularize the CSR activities under the banner of Gaurs.

Under her visionary leadership, Gaurs International School has been providing free education to the underprivileged yet deserving girl child, inspired by the Honorable Prime Minister’s “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” Campaign. Evening School is conducted with highly qualified teaching staff in the world class GIS infrastructure and evening students are given equal quality of education as compared to the day scholars. With the power of knowledge, courage and discipline, Mrs. Gaur believes that by educating a girl child she will be able to empower a generation. The evening school currently has more than 280 girls of grades II to VIII. These girls are entitled to receive education absolutely free of cost until the 12th grade at Gaurs International School. The Gaurs Group has also adopted a Government School in the Village Chaurauli, Jewar and the group provides them with the basic necessities to make education accessible to children.

Gaurs have also been acutely conscious of the responsibility towards problems like pollution, energy crisis as well as global warming. Mrs Gaur shared, “We are the first to deliver a Zero Garbage city in North India that eliminates the pollution threat from waste by recycling and treating waste to manure in 24 hours. We convert almost 43000 kg of garbage to manure every day. We have installed solar panels to make optimum utilization of the natural resources. STP technology has been set up in all our ventures where we can treat waste water and make it usable. We have also setup rainwater harvesting wells at all our project sites.” Regular plantation drives are conducted to focus and preserve the environment from pollution and global warming. As per estimates, approximately 1 lakh trees have been planted so far in and around the Gaurs World. At Gaur City, Greater Noida West, the Gaurs Group initiated a ‘Bartan Bank’ for all the residents of the society to encourage them about environment-friendly ways to serve food at gatherings as they can borrow utensils free of cost from the Bartan Bank. Annual medical camps are organized regularly, for employees, starting from laborers at the construction sites and support staff to the corporate staff of the Gaurs Group.

Gaurs Foundation has recently tied-up with Pinkishe Foundation for women to create hygiene awareness. Pinkishe is a NGO focused on the development, well-being, pride and happiness of the girl child & women. The prime agenda of Pinkishe is to make women stronger in all aspects of life that relates to them. Pinkishe strives to support them to become economically independent, aware of women rights, more responsible, provide them platforms where they can showcase their creativity and talent, help them get guidance and counseling over issues, motivate as well as support them to stand taller with pride & dignity! This collaboration provides an opportunity to both the partners to set up PADBANK for raising awareness and distributing free sanitary pads to the females of lower income strata at the Gaurs project sites. The initiative will kick off from 8th of March 2020, International Women’s Day. Healthy Women equals Happy Women!
